How to play Hood Warfare

Hold point A. Cover your crew. Make the street yours.

The objective

Enter the glowing circle in the middle of Rail Block. A team takes four seconds to capture it, then earns 1.5 team points each second. If both teams enter, the point is contested and stops scoring. The first crew to 150 points wins. At three minutes, the team with the higher score wins; equal scores are a draw.

A defeat breaks your character into bricks. You return after four seconds with full health and ammunition. Spawn protection lasts up to three seconds and ends when you shoot or leave the protected spawn area. Teammates cannot damage each other.

Damage falls with distance. Headshots increase damage. Crouching and aiming tighten your shots; jumping makes them less accurate. Switching weapons cancels a reload and keeps the ammunition you had before it started.

Routes and cover

Rail Block has a central street, a back alley on each side, storefront routes, cars, low walls, and crates. Take a flank when the middle is crowded. Crouch behind low walls to hide your head, jump onto small platforms, and use cover while reloading. Bullets are blocked by the same cover for players and bots.

Play solo or find a match

Solo vs. bots starts a match with two AI teammates and three AI opponents. Find a match puts you in a public queue for up to five seconds. Other waiting players join the same room; remaining places fill with clearly marked bots. You do not need an account. Local practice is also available and does not enter the global leaderboard.

Invite friends and customize teams

Create a friend room, copy its invite link, and send it to your crew. Up to eight human players can join before the match begins. The host can keep everyone together against bots, choose split teams, or move individuals to either side. Teams can be uneven. Bots can fill spaces, or you can turn them off when both sides have at least one player.

The host can start the custom match immediately, or queue the party for a public match. Custom room scores stay out of the public leaderboard. Online matches continue while a player opens the menu. Leaving a live room ends your participation; a brief connection interruption can reconnect you to the same character.

Scoreboard and leaderboards

Hold Tab to see each player’s kills, deaths, captures, objective seconds, and score. Personal score is 100 points per kill, 250 per capture, and 5 per full second spent in the objective. These personal points are separate from the team’s 150-point win target. Only finished server-run matches enter the public and solo leaderboards; local practice and custom rooms do not.
